If you've come to this site in search of a personal
trainer, we recommend that you choose an ISSA-certified trainer. You
can locate ISSA-certified trainers by entering "ISSA certified
trainer" (quotes optional), and some information about your
geographic location in your favorite search engine.
ISSA offers the most exhaustive and thorough certification
program, and requires fitness professionals to maintain continuing
education credits, as well as rigorous re-certification exams every
two years. A knowledgeable, experienced, and certified
professional trainer is your best investment in your health and
safety. You may also visit our friends at

Some final words of advice:
- Check several references when choosing a trainer. Just
because someone looks fit doesn't mean they have the training,
knowledge, and experience to train you effectively without
injuring you.
- Avoid paying for large numbers of sessions up front (3 at a
time is reasonable), or agreeing to monthly debit membership
plans and contracts with punitive cancellation policies - at
least until you're very familiar and comfortable with the
trainer/facility, and their references also check out regarding
their financial practices.
- There are known registered sex offenders operating in the
fitness training industry in the Kennesaw area, as well as
nationwide. Some even advertise that they are chosen as a
leading trainer in the area by regional magazines, which may
indeed be true. Magazines don't seem to check credentials, or
how many times, or who clicks a web-based vote button. Verify
each and every last name of everyone associated with the
trainer and/or facility you choose, including the management and
owners. Last names seem to work best, as these people vary their
use of first and middle names and their forms. A partial last
name search entry can also turn better results sometimes. In
Georgia, you can do this at:
